The School Day
The school day starts from 8.40am until 3.20pm with a range of learning activities and breaks throughout the day. We hope the information below will help to explain the way the day is organised.
Morning session: 8.40am – 12.10pm

Children must be in the classroom by 8.50am for registration. Parents of children in Reception Year will be able to drop their child off at the classroom door as their children gain awareness and confidence of new routines, many children quickly feel able to come in by themselves from the school gate. There is always a member of staff on the school gate to ensure the safety and security of all children upon entry to school.

All pupils in school have a morning break for 15 minutes. During break time pupils in Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 are offered a free piece of fruit / vegetables as a snack as part of the government initiative.
